WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU?

I would describe my work as emotive, natural and organic. I strive to keep my sessions super casual, laid back, and lots of fun! I want to capture you as you are at this moment in time. I don’t stress making you look perfect or stiff or having everyone looking at the camera. Sure, we’ll get a few of these shots but my goal is to capture lots of love and connection. These are the shots that make my heart swell (and hopefully yours as well!) My ultimate goal is that you are comfortable in front of my lens. My hope is that you leave our session feeling like you’ve gained a new friend. I love staying connected with my clients/ friends.

WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD?

I’m a lifestyle photographer and all my sessions are held at an outdoor location in the San Diego area. Together we will choose the perfect location for your session. My sessions are typically scheduled during golden hour (an hour before sunset). Newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your home and scheduled during mid-morning.

WHEN DO NEWBORN SESSIONS OCCUR?

I recommend scheduling newborn sessions within the baby’s first two weeks but I have photographed newborns that are a month old. Lifestyle newborn photography provides this flexibility and aims to capture those special first days at home.

WHEN DO MATERNITY SESSIONS OCCUR?

I like to photograph mama-to-be’s between 30-34 weeks of pregnancy when her beautiful belly is nice and round.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are. I do not recommend matching but rather coordinating with 3-4 colors (i.e. avoid white tees with jeans). Check out this blog post for tips!

WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS AFTER THE SHOOT?

Yes, you will receive a digital gallery of 30 professionally edited, high-resolution images via direct download as well as a print release within 3-4 weeks after your session.

HOW MUCH DOES ALL OF THIS COST?

My portrait sessions start at $550. A $200 retainer fee is due upon booking to secure your session date. For more info, please click here.

DO YOU PROVIDE THE RAW FILES?

No, I don't offer the raw files as they are unfinished products. My editing style is part of my creative process which is portrayed in the images that are delivered in the final gallery.
